- This car came with factory air conditioning. Dozens of pictures were taken of various locations and components to ensure the newly rebuilt system was installed correctly.

- All the engine brackets and front pulleys had to be located cleaned and painted. A new compressor is installed. The heater core and the evaporator core are cleaned and tested.

- The decision is made to charge the system with R134. This dictated the installation of swaged hoses instead of the barbed fittings and hose clamps. The upgraded POA valve was a newer design using a pressure switch. This works better with the R134.

- The original metal vacuum canister was tested, cleaned, painted and installed. An evaporator case valve was installed in the bottom to allow moisture to drain. A new TXV and blower motor were installed.

- The HVAC case was cleaned and clear coated. The A/C harness was tested, cleaned and installed.
