- Prior to removal of the body from the frame, with this frame–off restoration, the car was taken to an alignment shop and the body and frame checked on a rack. The frame was in spec. Do to the driver door damage the “A” pillar needed to be realigned. The “A” pillar was easily moved back into position and a new door installed.
- Following the body work and paint, the body was delivered. The frame was ready and the two units were put together. New body mount were installed.
- These pictures were taken as we set the body on the frame.
