Custom bowtie grill insert was fashioned to fit inside the opening of the rear fascia.

To install this style of rear fascia it is necessary to completely remove the rear bumper & supports.  Nothing is left or the rear bumper once installed.  Since I wanted to go with this look I decided to install a 1/4 inch piece of plate steel between the two frame ends.  This way if someone lightly hits the car from the rear they will not destroy my gas tank. 

Do it or leave it off... I am thinking of installing a tow receiver hitch.  I have a few trailers, but not always access to something that can tow them.  What to do...  It would increase the rear-end crash worthiness...Hhhmmmm....
