I just didn't take pictures of them.
315/35ZR17's
- (Done January, 2004)
This was not just a bolt on! I had to purchase
hub-centric spacers for both sides to clear the frame!
But, NO tubbing was needed!!!
Some additional notes to help those wanting to simulate my
mod. To start I had
WeldCraft Wheels
widen my stock wheels to 10.5 inches just big enough to install 315's
You will need to install longer wheels studs as you
have to install hub-centric spacers to center your wheels to keep it from
rubbing the frame. I used GM P/N 22551491. The hub-centric spaces
came from
WheelAdapter.com.
This is the tricky part, you must measure your back spacing accurately or your
spacers will could cause your tires rub the inside of your fender or still be to
thin and rub the frame. On my Impala they were different for each side so
measure correctly. Visit the
Impala SS Forum and go to the
Wheels & Tires section to learn more.
